wtbwplug is a plugin for MsgPlus! which allows any size Custom Emoticons and Display Pictures in MSN Messenger 6.
UPDATE: wtbwplug also allows more than five custom emoticons to be sent in one message! Note: the other person needs the plugin to see them.
Current version is only compatible with MSN Messenger version 6.1.0211 (you can get the latest one here). A generic version will be released soon.
Add Custom Emoticons and Display Pictures as you normally would: the pictures you add will keep their original size instead of being resized to 96x96 or 19x19. Your existing Custom Emoticons and Display Pictures will continue to work at the old size.
IMPORTANT: To see Custom Emoticons bigger than usual, (or more than 5 of them in 1 message) your contact will also need wtbwplug installed or they will not see the image properly. However, the plugin is not needed to see any size Display Pictures. The larger a picture you use, the longer it will take to display, and if you use too large picture for your Display Picture, your contact's IM window may become messed up, and they wont be able to see what you say. No, it won't crash them, it's just annoying as hell and nobody will speak to you if you do it. So don't.
Even though this is a Messenger Plus plugin, it won't be listed in the plugin list as it doesn't have any commands. Don't worry about it, especially if you don't know what I'm talking about.
To uninstall, simply run setup.exe again.

New Scandinavian Launch Menu game: 4Across Birds
 dwergs says ( 07 Apr 2004 ):
| |
The Danish company Titoonic has developed a new 3rd-party game for the Launch Menu of Scandinavian MSN Messenger users. The game is called 4Across Birds, and it is a Connect 4 variation based in the jungle.
Like said, this game's only available in the Scandinavian region but Koen will hopefully soon add it to the Custom Games Patch just like he did with Pegbal.

.NET Messenger's many minor difficulties
 dwergs says ( 07 Apr 2004 ):
| |
The .NET Messenger Service has been "temporarily unvailable" three times over the past two days. The selectivity of the passports affected by this downtime is striking. Is Microsoft getting accounts ready for the release of MSN Messenger 6.2? Oh, and can you already drag a contact person right below the "new e-mail message" line in your main window?

It's been a long time, we shouldn't have left you without some funny bots to chat to... Chat to, chat to, chat to... Freaky-freaky.
Enough of my rapping, time for some chatting. Check out daz's chat bot for MSN Messenger: DeMoLiTiOn DuDe, a pretty new bot with over 1100 users now. It has got games such as slot machines, horse racing, rock paper scissors & fighting, all linked to the same system of points just like a casino. There's even more games, lots of jokes, the latest film reviews and news, bot-mail (all bot users get their own inbox!), etc. And all this is just a handful of the 200 available menu commands (type !menu).

New Cellcom tab in Israel
 dwergs says ( 04 Apr 2004 ):
| |
Roy reports that since Friday 26th of March a new, purple-star tab appears to Israeli users of MSN Messenger. It's one from cellular phone provider, Cellcom, with icons, ringtones, games, videos and SMS sending function. Like 99% of these customization sites you have to pay to receive the stuff on your mobile phone.
Thanks to TabMgr by Daniel, you can make whatever tabs from around the world appear in your MSN Messenger by registering here and applying this patch. |
